Air Con Problem

Recently bought 1998 C250 Turbodiesel Estate. Aircon usually works when car first started but cuts out after a while and usually wont work again until next day. Has been re gassed and looked at by auto electrician but to no avail. Any suggestions b4 i return to dealer again to be fixed.

Might consider changing the pressure switch or the receiver dryer unit if pressure switch cannot be removed separately.

I have a C250TD and my AirCon experiences a similar problem but the other way round - it doesn't work straight away, only when the engine gets to a sufficient temperature. If you're travelling at speed and there's plenty of natural airflow over the rad then it doesn't work.

Garage also thinks its the pressure switch and it will be going in to be repaired in the next couple of weeks. I'll post here with the outcome.
