Hi, I am very disappointed. Just purchase a second-hand Benz not even 6 months ago. The air-condition suddenly stopped blowing cool air when driving on the freeway. Took the car to many Mechanics each of them said different issues to fix. Cannot just change everything until it fixed.

Error code on Benz diagnosis system is saying “the regulator value for the climate control” P261100

Diagnosis identifier code “022F1D”

Can some help with the codes please?

PS - Had a battery malfunction message also. I had the main battery changed a few weeks ago. Panasonic 60038-MF 12v 100Ah none AGM and 5Ah more powerful.

Hello and welcome

Take it to an AC specialist, get them to check for leaks and add a UV dye to identify any leaks. From there, they’ll be able to ascertain where the issue is and rectify it.

Forgot, once fixed use it all the time. Infrequent use probably caused the problem.

hybrid !

may well be linked.... lots of fun with these. I belive the AC in these cars is linked to the drive battery's charging and cooling systems. Wouldn't surprise me if the main battery has decided your wallet needs emptying. Check a few forums out, (but it's not easy to come by info on how the Merc hybrid cars work - and note all the dealership are utterly clueless on how to repair their hybrid models). On these ones they need lots of TLC to behave, and love to make money vanish.

I've seen a few posts on other forums lately saying they ended up admitting defeat and replacing the main battery, plus power control modules around this age and then there are many dealer only fixes - flashing various ecu modules with later software that functions

even Eastern Europeans struggle to understand these wild hybrid ones or make any cost effective repairs, even after years of trying - and they tend to hack software issues quite well, alongside unlimited access to free spare parts
