I have a 90-91 300CE-24v. If this year and model on the new rather than the old refrigerant?

Depending on the previous owner/owners of the car it may be on either. Some people have the compressors changed to handle the new gases. Mine runs old and that was diagnosed by the fitter I use. Best just ask an expert, they seem to be fairly common for aircon.
