air metre problem clk 430 HELP

i replaced it 2 weeks ago everyhting was fine.it would appear the new one has gone too.have i been unlucky or is it something else aswell.

Do you mean the MAF filter ?

OK if you unplug the connector on the MAF and the car goes fairly well,then it is faulty.

On 113 v8s, it's easy to push the seal out by the throttle housing when fitting new air mass meters. Make sure it's fitted correctly first before spending any more money. A slight smear of engine oil around it would'nt hurt if it's been pushed out, it will make re-assemble easier. Also smear around top engine cover seal.
