Hi All,

I've seen various references to blocked drains in the airbox but not really known what it meant...until this afternoon. Took my C200 to the car wash and chummy hosed it down with a pressure washer giving the vent at the bottom of the windscreen a good going over to clear away leaves etc. Drove off a couple of minutes later and found water coming into the passenger footwell. Guess the drains must be blocked! Question is, how do I get to them and are there any tips to make it easier.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1 gives you details of removing the over and the other shows you where the drains are

Hi Television,

Would it be possible for you to send me that information as well? I've had a good look at the front of the windscreen area and can't get my head around what I'm supposed to be doing there - I can remove a small plastic grill/filter - but nothing else appears to be removable??

my email address is (removed), and I would be very grateful. :)

Hi Malcolm, Im new to the forum & don't know if this message will reach you, but here goes:

Sorry to be a pain but would be great if you could send a copy of your information on drain clearing. I have the same problem as BollyW, RiceBurner with my '97 C200. The garage did some cleaning about a year ago but it's flooding again now.

Thanks in advance, Demis
