Aircap mesh cleaning

As the aircap on the windscreen goes down when you stop how do you clean the flies etc out of the mesh? Is there a way of opening it when the car is stationary?

Just leave it open with roof open as well then use a vacuum cleaner or similar. Works with my 13 plated car.

My aircap on the windscreen shuts itself when the car is stationary then raises again when in motion.

Can you open it using a dash button? At some point they made it open automatically at a certain speed if I recall. Mine is button operated and stays open when you are stationary!
