Hope someone can give me some advice

2 days labour you could go to Germany, make one, bring it back and fit it.

This problem is usually associated with the relay and not the motor itself.
(I only know because I had one done once)
About £140 + half an hour to fit I think.

Check the regulator first. Far more common failure and £125 for the part and 20 mins to fit.
Its a bit too early for the blower to have failed and the reg will give all the same symptoms.

Thanks jberks. Just noticed this and I'd put relay as opposed from regulator which I meant. Doh.....

Still maintain that 2 *days* labour seems excessive though ;)

My inderpendant has just resolved a simular problem on my 124.
He removed fuse 12,and replaced with a seperate fuse not in the fuse box "prone to overheating" he also changed fuse 7,I am amazed at the number of different function fuse 7 controls !
Any way it's now working fine.

aircon blower fault

Many thanks to shj,I will give that a try as soon as the rain stops. That is if it does stop it seems to have been raining now for months.
Thanks also to jberks and daveenty,Ive been able to source the regulator in euro car parts priced £80 + vat.
What is involved in this job?Can you access the regulator by stripping the dash?
