Many thanks for the reply. I'll give it a try tomorrow afternoon. I've got a RAC code reader, & plugged it in under the dash, cleared a fault it found. Will try attaching the STP recharge kit while the engine is running, & see what it shows, as I previously said when I connected it to the low pressure the gauge went right around to the 'warning' area on the dial. I was a little worried when I took it back to Kwik for the second time, & they didn't even have a digital thermometer to measure the temp coming out of the vents! Will update you on tomorrow's findingsThe instructions on the bottle said only connect/disconnect with engine off but take reading with engine running.
That's from memory though.
