Just broken down...whole car is so low...can't drive it waiting for RAC via Mercedes as on the Isleof Wight...probably airmatic compressor...notgood at 32k miles from New full mb service history...any idea of cost

Just got the repair quote :
Please find the prices for the repairs to your Mercedes C220...This is with Goodwill as I'm their favorite customer LOL

Replace air suspension compressor & valve block: £1019.02
Replace air suspension compressor: £751.18 if valve block not required
Carry out air con recharge: £79.00 to be discounted to £39.50

Hopefully we will not need the valve block so that it’s the cheaper option.

I’d certainly look into this fault ie ask for the reason why the compressor has failed.
MB were having problems with water ingress into the air pump electrics on S213 estates circa 2018 and the pumps from recollection were replaced FOC

its a 2015 s205 c220 premium plus owned from new with full mb service history and just covered 32300 miles from new...serviced by MB last week

Though I have some goodwill from Esplanade the Mercedes Dealer on the Isle of Wight....Does anyone think it would be worth contacting the Mercedes CEO....
to try and get further Goodwill from Mercedes themselves....if so please let me have their email address

Seems strange for the rear of the car to drop completely so it’s not driveable what exactly happened, had there not been any prior dash messages ‘car too low’ or ‘car rising?

Whole car dropped at the same time as the error sound and message...all 4 wheels lightly rubbing on the underside...I probably didn't notice it was dropping till it was too late..

Wow! that is undriveable, I carry a spare air pump relay in the car toolkit just In case which covers the basics but if it’s a burnt out pump it obviously wouldn’t help. Hope you soon get a driveable car back

I didn’t even realise they fitted the C with air suspension but, what a pita especially with low mileage.

The codes pointed to compressor failure...it will get a new one plus the relay and anything else they can think of to empty my wallet LOL

It was an expensive option...told its much better than conventional...no shocks etc...very reliable and a smoother ride...No Shocks!!!!! It was a ****** shock when I got the estimate...even after some goodwill LOL

its a 2015 not 2018 and its a top up as its cols but not as cold as it used to be

Got a courtesy car fron enterprise...firstly was a mazda 3 sky active quite a nice car but manual...they promised to swap it for a merc..which I got today...c200 4 door 70 plate...its petrol with eq whatever that is...doesn't seem to be part electric...quite noisy for a petrol..drones a bit..also no temperature gauge..can't wait to get mine back

She's back home...all fixed...just a tad over £750 in the end including the Aircon service
