airmatic groan!!!

Hi all,

The front Strut leg on my S class W220 is creaking & squeeking like a first world war tank!!!! If you hold the lower leg you can feel the creaking going on inside as you move it up and down with a lever.
Has anyone had one of these things apart?

How on earth do I lubricate it???? :-( :-( :-(

Its a sealed unit, from memory they are around £500. But check to see if its one of the bushes or control arms, Ive recently had the front suspension overhauled at 75k at a cost of £2k without even touching the shocks

Airmatic creaking strut....Help!!!!!

As it appears to be a sealed unit, does anyone know if feeding silicone lube spray through the air supply to the strut is possible?

Just a thought!
