Put the roof down today, first time since owning car from last year, whoo

I had a bit of trouble with the alarm when i left the roof down to do a bit of shopping ,the alarm went off three times in a short space of time, each time i went back to the car and reset it. i was away for a few minutes and off it went again  no prob with roof up!

It appears as though i have two sensors on each screen pillar inside the car, although when i looked in my handbook it states that a convertible does not have motion sensors as i only have the tow away switch on dashboard.

any ideas?

many thanks

Hilary

The sensor should switch off when the roof is down!

alarms on 208 cab were retrofit in dealers. fitted many of these. could be the interface which fits inline with pse pump, or the pse pump itself. replaced these for similar faults
