Alarm inicators NOT flashing!

I have searched the forums for the answer to my problem without luck. Lots of people have mentioned indicators flashing after they have set the alarm. My problem is that the alarm and central locking works fine on my 1994 124, but the indicators don't flash when I arm and dis-arm the alarm - they worked ok until a few days ago. The normal indicating and hazards are working ok.
Has anyone got an idea where I should look - I suspect it's a relay.
