Alarm problem E250 D Elegance 1996

Hi Big problem with alarm going off between 30 seconds and 1 min after arming, push the button on key, lights on mirror work central locking works all indercators flash, have checked switches on doors and boot lid (that control interior light) all seem to be working, i have noticed that interior light came on once or twice while driving, But have sat in car (perfectly still) and armed the alarm but the light doesn't come on when the alarm goes off, i also cant hear any relays de activating any help more than welcome

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
Have you looked at your bonnet switch? (only some had them fitted).
Have you got ultra-sonic movement sensors on the "A" pillers, you could try turning them off therefore eliminating them, and remove all your interior bulbs, and give it a try then.

hi I did look for a bonnet switch, but couldnt see one Will have another look in the morning, I did see a small key slot on the top of the siren, but alas no key was given to me when i bought the car, thought i could have turned it off there, anyway thanks for now I'll let you know how I get on

The key switch in the siren does not turn the alarm off only silences it.
