Help please.
The alarm, lights flashing and lately siren going off at random. I operate the lock or unlock on the remote and it stops.
I have checked the main battery, seems to be about 14v, also no problem with starting the vehicle so would say battery is ok.
Looked on forums for location of alarm, it is shown as being behind the right and side front wheel arch cover, removed this, it isn't there. Anyone advise me where it is please.
The plan was to disconnect and remove the alarm for checking over or replacement. I presume that I would still be able to use the car while that was being done, am I correct.
Any other pointers to the possible solution to the problem would be appreciated.
In the meanwhile I will leave the boot lid unlocked, I presume this will stop the alarm going off, car is secure enough on my drive.
