Hi,
I was wondering if anybody could ive me some advice on my 2003 E Class Elegance Merc?

When I lock vehicle and leave it overnight and when I come out in the morning the rear o/s of the body has lowered and the wheel is up inside the wheel arch. By just unlocking the car with the remote key I can watch the o/s rear part of the body of the car returning to its normal running position.

It would seem that the air bag is ok, anybody got any ideas please?

Regards,

Alastair.

Hello Alastair, And welcome to the forum, Is the car standing on level ground, as if not it can make it worse,,on a recent thread here, the MB techies all said that it was normal

Thanks for your reply Television, The car can be standing on level ground or gradients, but it seems strange that it is only the O/S rear that is going down.
It takes about 6 to 8 hours for the suspension to go down.

Regards,

Alastair.
