Allen key size W203

Hi can some one please tell me the size of allen key i need to remove the strut from the hub carrier on the front of a w203 all mine are either too big or too small thanks in advance:

Look closly in the hole, could it be a torx in there are pointed corners

Not sure what it is that you are trying to undo.

Later ones have a torx. On the earlier 203/209 it should be a 12mm alen bolt

Yes 12mm Hex head on the bolt and 22mm nut.

thanks to all job now done i was changing struts and springs(was 12mm hex)
