it is a Fuch magnesium forged alloy wheel, also called bundt cake on some german ebay sites, must be a reference to some weird german cake or something that looks like it!

Pretty much the standard Merc alloy up to 1985

Watch out though, as there were a LOT of copies. MB Originals have the sizing and part numbers stamped in the alloy on the inside!

Most cars were supplied with 14", and 15" were only offered as standard equipment on the 450 SEL 6.9 or 6.3. Optionally available on the W123 coupes and others.
