Alloy wheels W211

Can you tell me what finish is on W211 alloys? Are they silver paint or polished and laquered?

This depends on the wheels and year of the car,,MB these days are going away from the silver centers and polished lacquered rim as this gives many corrosion problem after a couple of years. These days they use Chrome paints all over,, this is so much more durable, it looks good too

2004 5 twin spoke Ankaa B6 6472157, described in the accessories brochure as "high sheen". I ask because there are a set of refurbs on ebay and it says they are highly polished which would indicate not painted. If painted (as my SAAAB wheels used to be) then I need to ensure they are done in the correct original colour. If polished then they will naturally be the original finish.

I have the wheel book and the finish is painted all over with bright silver paint, and nothing polished on them
