Hi, I have a 1986 300sl which has 15" flat face alloys that really could do with a refurb.
I have been offered a set of 16" flat face alloys that aparently will fit but I don't know tyre sizes or anything.
Any advice greatfully received!!!

you need

6.5 or 7J x 16 x ET 25, methinks, but check the ET number on the ones you have already. If they are 25s, you're ok. If not, they will probably be 10s.
The Et is stamped on the inner face of the wheels. If you are getting shot of your 15s, let me know.
Tyre size will be up to you eventually, but check the tyre size calculator here
