Alloys for 1997 C class

Hi guys/girls,
New to this site. Have recently purchased a pre-facelift 1997 C Class 200 elegance (92000 miles) Full MB history (I pick up the car this sunday).
I beleive the car has 15 inch steel wheels & i would like to fit 16 inch alloy wheels (genuine secondhand mercedes ones). Can you advise on what will fit as i really am confused as to ET etc etc. Any help from C class owners would be really welcome.
