IF my purchase of the SL goes ahead on Tuesday I'll be doing all the things that the car might need but I'm wondering about changing the Command thingy for something more like 2023.
I'd like to use Waze and make and receive calls on my iPhone. Not bothered about music as I never have it on in a car.
I've done a forum search but can't find anything.
Can anyone suggest someone who can transplant a unit?

The interior looks very nice and well cared for, my first thoughts would be to buy some Mercedes rubber mats to protect the carpet

Comandonline in Lightwater Surrey can fit something for you, they’re not cheap but they are good quality

Nooo, not black rubber mats in there...!
Set of matching carpets, else you'll ruin the ambiance and look, saving it for the next owner. Enjoy it, don't hide it. It's not an ML (or Landy)

Unit looks good (has 4gb of Ram) but if you're not in northern most Scotland worth checking out Command On Line as with the options (car play and do you need fibre) you're into some worthwhile but substantial spend there.

Looks lovely though...

After years fighting with MB-4 https://www.commandonline.co.uk/viseeo-mb4.html I reverted back to the cradle that came with mine to hold an old Nokia. Bought a new old Nokia from e-bay for £20, bought a pay as you go sim and now divert calls to the nokia if I'm on a long drive.
My samsung also sits landscape between the gear selector surround and the aircon controls for sat nav, but usually I'm repeating same trip so use the inbuilt one just to keep me awake. Mine has a jack plug in glove box and can play through the aux for music, I've had an mp3 player, now have a bluetooth reciever that I sometimes use plugged into the jack. Oh and I have a six stack cd behind the passenger seat filled with marks greatest hits.
I am interested in going full android but it was about £600 fitted last time I went searching, not confident enough to mess with the CAN to fit myself.
