Alternative to telephone prewiring cradle

Hello!

My Mum recently bought an SLK 200. She would like to connect her cellphone to the pre-wired telephone socket, but as she changes her handsets very frequently, it seems like a waste of money to buy even a second hand model-specific cradle every time.

Does anybody know whether it's possible to purchase just the cable that connects the handset to the car in order to achieve the same effect (i.e. call functionality accessible through the dashboard)?


I'd appreciate any info.

if its prewired, just get a bluetooth cradle. MB SAP, HFP or the Viseeo all do the job.

I've got a viseeo MB2000 and use it with three different phones (not at the same time of course) in my CLK. Works a treat
