alternator removal

hi all i need to replace the alternator on my 1996 vito van. it looks tight to remove and install any tips would be welcome. thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum, it is a big job with a drive shaft needing to be removed.

I can send you the 4 pages of work sheets to do the job. we had another member do the same thing a few weeks back

I know when the guy did it 2 weeks back,, took him 2 days and that was in the cold. There are 4 papers on doing this and not for the light hearted
