Alternator replacement on W169 A180 cdi

Good day everyone. I drive a Mercedes Benz A180 cdi 2007 model,W169. There are sounds coming from my alternator and I suspect the pulley. Is this repairable or must I replace the unit ? Also is this an easy exercise?

I’d remove the alternator and get it refurbished
