Amber brake fluid light has come on but level is fine?

Hi Guys,

The following light has come on my Mercedes ML350, have checked the brake fluid and it appears to be fine? Car is driving and braking fine - Any ideas?

AnthonyUK - Yeah that's what I'm thinking maybe? Want to see if this has happened to others? Need to get it down to the garage to take a look at it

How worn are the disc brake pads,,?

If the lamp with that symbol was red it’s a fluid level warning. If it was amber, like your picture it’s a pad wear warning on the older ML iirc

I thought that was parking brake light, what does the manual say!

P in the centre instead of ! for the parking brake. The pad wear usually has broken brackets on the outside. I suspect the OP has grabbed a generic pic from t’internet
