A few months ago I went to a car tuning service and they installed ambient lightning for me into my Mercedes. They managed to install a new software version on the MBUX system so I was able to control the lightning on the displays but also with the 'Hey Mercedes' function.

Now yesterday I got a pop up on the displays that there was a update and I Installed it. After the installation I saw that the system no longer had the ambient light 'comfort' tab and also didnt recognize the lightning anymore. Is there a way to install the older version that had the 'Comfort' section so I can change the light in the car? Maybe a site with downloadable software I can use as a backup?

Thanks in advance, all tips are welcome!
By the way, Im driving a Mercedes A160 from 2019.

I believe that once the software has been updated there is no way to go back to the previously installed version.
This was always going to be a potential problem with having a third party installation like this, so I would be returning the car to them if i was you.
You car qualifies for free OTA updates for 3 years from first registration so this could happen again.
