Ambient lights.

I have a ambient light kit for the air vents on my W205 C Class, also I have a centre console with clock that I am going to swap with my existing one without a clock. Fitting the lights seems rather straight forward, but the wireing seems a bit daunting. It came with a little plug on one end for the front vent light's and a wire with bare ends for the rear vent's. Is there a wireing diagram for the ambient lights anywhere also a diagram for the clock wireing would be very handy. Can any one help ? Cheer's

Sorry I can’t offer any advise but please post some photos once you’ve managed to get it fitted. And also any tips you pick up along the way. I’m considering doing this to my car, so will be needing all the help I can get lol.

I have got the clock wired in ready for the swap, it was not too bad a job. I had to send off for the clock loom, it came with instructions I will dig the info out as soon as I have time.

Audio & Electronics - Front SAM wiring diagram W205 - not fuse diagram - Does anyone have the SAM front diagram for W205 please ? In particular I am looking for LIN bus Connection in front SAM. Thanks.

Hi, follow the link, when you get to reply number 24 the picture shows the sam unit, the plug you want is the Blue plug with the Grey locking bar. You will need to remove the kick panel from under the dash to get to it. (See You tube, ) When you get the plug out you will have to dismantle it, just slide the little Black end cap off then the Black strip with all the wires in (28) will slide out, the connections are numbered find number 26 that's the one you need for the clock. I cant remember where I got the wireing loom for the clock from, I am sure it was from another site, if you do some digging I am sure you will find it. Good Luck. Edit.
