Does anybody know the correct dimensions of the boot amg badge for the SL series? Also the length of the V8 Kompressor side decals?

Well yes, I do agree that size matters, most of the ones on Ebay are all a copy. the original badges are not that expensive from MB.

These things come in various types,all in one and seperate letters.

MB letters are 25mm high and the AMG 21mm high, the black long ones are 12cm x 3cm

AH yes, but is that the 55 or 63 decals!
Saw a couple of 63s (E and CLS) in the showroom last week. I have to say that I'd have it debadged, just looked really tacky (American) to me.
Speak softly and carry a big stick.

I was looking at the MB site for a pic. Didn't find one but I noticed that the E63 comes with an Audio20 as standard - like the 200 classic. That's out of order!

The decal is not all one piece it's made up from V8 & Kompressor total length is 270mm

Here's the rear one (off a W211 but should be the same)

It measures 200mm x 18mm (The 200mm varies with spacing but it looked right here)

Agree with jberks about the debadging as well Found these in a cupboard no idea where the side V8 ones are.
