Without meaning to sound rude (and apologies because this probably will) - why didn't you buy the car you wanted in the first place? Sounds like you wanted a W209 CLK Sport with a BOSE/HK sound system but didn't buy one...
No matter how you dressed that up, it still sounded rude.
I bought a W209 6 months ago, first MB and have learned loads about them since. If I decided another model would have been better, should I now lose thousands trading it in? Or would buying a body kit & sound system or such like be the preferred option? Only the owner can decide what is best for them.

Interestingly, I did exactly the same thing as you i.e. bought the wrong CLK for me and did end up losing a lot on it because I did trade it in for the car I actually wanted. The question you have to ask yourself though, is it worth spending a few thousand pounds on adding a bodykit and sound system? You will never get that money back. If it is not an OEM bodykit it may actually end up costing you money in the long run as it is not really a max-power kind of car. Just my 2p's worth.
You're confusing me with the original poster, I'm happy with mine.
