AMG Exhaust

Has anybody fitted an AMG Exhaust to their SLK R170? If so, did it replace the original,and was their any noticable difference apart from the cosmetic look?

Have you spoken to Longlife Exhausts? Might be able to find something that suits what you want and looks very similar to the AMG exhaust.

My 170 has AMG rear section. It is a direct replacement for original, and does add a slightly rortier sound, particularly when cold. It is quite expensive though, and might be worth investigating alternatives before making a decision.

I second that recommendation.
I had them remove my centre silencer on my OEM AMG exhaust to replace with a 3" stainless steel pipe, they did an excellent job and the welds are nice and tidy. They can make up anything you want on your car with loads of tailpipe designs.
