I have a 230E on a 1988 plate, she's a wonderful car with a mind of her own, the other day I wa trundling along with the window part down and the radio playing when all of a sudden the radion went dead, I tried to wind up the window (Electric) and this was also dead, I was a bit concerned as previously if I went round a corner te radio would cut out, once round the corner it would come back on again, I just accepted that my car did not loke corners!!! I have recently discovered though, that as I am going along and everything cuts out, all I have to do is Open the "Ashtray" I kid you not, it brings everything back to life, "Gonna try throwing an ashtray under the bonnet, se if it cures my other problem" I have deduced that it is a wiring connection behind the center gear shift console, so when I find out how to remove it, I will attack the connections.
