No,not one of ours.Abdullah al-Badri,OPEC Sec.Gen. said "I think Mr Brown is very confused,because if he is looking for the interests of his people he should look at the taxes. ........ He is getting the highest taxes in Europe,maybe the World.So Mr Brown,instead of looking at OPEC,should look at his policies and try to reduce taxes"

How come while Mr.al-Badri knows this ,We know this,and the UK transport industry certainly knows this, our resident fiscal 'genius' doesn't seem to

I think it says more about the British population that we put up with ever increasing taxes on our fuel, no one else would stand for it.

Even the outside world can see that we are being squeezed by the greediest govt this country has ever seen. Remember a few months back when Brown went begging to Opec to ask what they could do to get the price of a barrel down. Then as soon as it did come down, he wacked on the delayed 2p lt duty increase. No wonder they are laughing at this buffoon.
