Well it is not an A class it is a B150 se auto with 500 miles on the clock.
Quite like it BUT why put that very weak engine with an auto, it is terrible plus the steering is way too light.

Priced it up on the MB site and it is over £20k worth

Mine is in for 3 days while they do a warranty repair on 2 very small bits of rust where they did not seal the edges very well (just me being very picky) but MB Leicester did not bat an eyelid.
Not bad for a 5 year old car.

Will let you know the results.

Just had a call from MB leicester, work is progressing on the arches but they had found some on some doors  I have been all over it with a fine tooth comb and did not find anything else (incl under trims etc)
They are contacting MB and said to me is it ok if we keep the car for another day to get everything done?
Fine by me, but just a little bit of me is suspicious, probably shouldn't be but there we go.
Will get the full low down on Thursday.

Call from the bodyshop again this morning. All 4 doors had rust at the bottom, news to me! I really checked it all over very well (or so I thought!) but not complaining as MB are picking up the bill, they would rather take their time and finish it on Tuesday so we will have to slum it in the brand new B class over the weekend ;)

Sounds like good service from MB Leicester.
They are friendly there when one goes to buy spares too, for diy servicing.

don't forget it is in the dealers interest to find as much to do as they can. They get paid for doing this work, the cusotmer isn't paying them but MB are. If they weren't getting paid they probably wouldn't be quite as helpful. Too synical?

I agree but it's just that most warranty dealings I have had with dealers over the years (not just MB but quite a few manufacturers) have been like hitting your head against a brick wall to get things done so it is quite nice when a dealer gets hold of something and runs with it without being pushed.

Further reveiw on the B class BTW.

It is actually very smooth and there is very little road noise.
It is very nicely put together.
Minus points, the rear view mirror seams to block a lot of your view???
Engine is really terrible
