Another Newbie - reaching out

Hello - I have had various Mercedes in the past and its been a great experience (a 1992 E class estate the best car I have ever had).

I have just purchased a rare beast - 1978 Mercedes 206 D campervan. The condition is excellent and the 2 hour drive home was joyous - despite torrential rain. It came with first class history and documentation including workshop manuals.

We are planning a series of trips, but short ones to start while we get familiar with everything. As well as contacting various groups and forums, here and overseas, it would be good to connect with other owners, particularly in the UK and we need to find potential sources of spares etc for the long term.

Would love to hear from other owners or anyone interested.

I have a 410 from 1984, in the process of renovating, yours is a joy to behold!

I have a VW Westfalia from 86, its my labour of love.

Aquanit yourself with MB Classic for chassis parts, for the camper parts you will need to find out who was responsible for the camper conversion.
