Was wondering if anyone has any thoughts/similar experiences.
I recently bought an 05 E320cdi which was serviced by the dealer before delivery at 11200 miles. Next service is showing as due at 9300 miles from this.

I have done my homework and am aware of the reasons for the short interval (serviced with semi-synth oil etc) but am slightly confused by the fact that a 'D' service is due. Car has only covered 12600miles to date so what could be out of spec/worn at this stage to necessitate this level of servicing requirement?

All a D service means is the amount of time it needs to be booked in for.
Not sure all the ins and outs of servicing but I know dealers over here don't use the servicing schedule the same way they do in Germany.
