same problem as ussual....low idle when cold high idle when warm

sometimes when the car is started it will rev up to 2500 rpm and hold not lowering after touched the accelerator. if the car is stopped and restarted its good as gold. ITS NOT THE IDLE CONTROL VALVE hehe if changed it and it makes no difference.

Did you check for a vacuum leak? This will definately drive you crazy with idle problems.

should the idle control valve be air tight? Im guessing the answers yes...

Mine appears to be leaking around the metal caseing.....ahhh a cheap fix i reckon ...just a little builders silicon lol
