Anti Corrosion Warranty ??

I have purhcased a 1996 (N) E230 which has one little rust blotch on the A Panel on the the drivers side.

What is the Anti Corrosion Warranty on these Mercedes ???

Nothing on a 1996 one. Actually it was 8 years but that ran out some time ago. The 30 years didn't kick in until 1998

1996 ones were pretty well constructed anyway so I'd suspect the rust is the result of a stone chip rather than any manufacturing defect and wouldn't be covered anyway.
