Is normal antifreeze green/blue or the red stuff

Its not the coolant colour its the type thats important. they cant be mixed.

if you are dumping it all and flushing then it doest matter which you put in.

It may be an old A150, but I would stay with a MBenz supplied coolant.

The color does not matter, but the content does even in a complete flush and change, as the chemical composition can differ between antifreeze's, and have an adverse effect on the metals it comes into contact with. Check MB BEVO list to make sure you get the right one for your engine. In my last MB ( 2010 E class 200 OM651 ) rather than top up even with the proper BEVO into something I was not sure about, I did a complete change and flush. Now I'm 100% sure exactly what anti freeze is in the engine., and its the proper one,

As Jim says. The colour is nothing but a dye and there is no standard defining what colour is what antifreeze.
Most MBs use G48 but check your handbook.
