Any disadvantage of using 75Ah battery on W124 instead of 60Ah?

I assume using a 75Ah battery should work well with my W124 which is designed to have a 60 Ah battery (I have the 75Ah battery from my other car)
Any disadvantage of that?

Providing it's the same type i.e. AGM/FLooded and size so it fits in the same position and can be fully clamped down, you can use a bigger capacity battery.

Surprised it only had a 60Ah to be honest. My 129 is 100Ah and is based on the 124.

Me too. It has a bigger engine than my W210 and yet it uses a smaller battery.
The 60Ah is confirmed in th Heinz manual.
The battery space in so small making it difficult to use a bigger battery.
I will try to fit my 75Ah next week, assuming there are no disadvantages of using a bigger battery.

As long as it fits, has the same chemistry(as the old one) and the same or better CCA then it is better that a 60Ah.
