Anyone used an Inforad GPS speed camera detector ?
They are low cost compared to competitors products so interested in performance or useability issues.
Thanks/Barry
No, but I suspect they work in the same way as the tomtom version, by alerting if you are in range of a camera. The problem I have found with this is that if you are on a parallel road to one, you come into range as the crow flies and the alert triggers. At least on the tomtom, you can see where it is on the screen so know to ignore it, plus the updates are free and are updated by the public so are possibly more reliable.
Personally, I can't see the point. Sure a tomtom is a bit more, but you get a GPS Nav system, traffic camera, PDA, petrol station and Macdonalds detector all into the bargain!
