Any Good Warranty polices out there?

Can anyone recommend to me good warranty polices to take out on my E270 cdi 110,000 MILES 4 and bit years old? I have and want to cover the majority of the car from big bills arising.... i have read there are lots of electical faults etc so want to be prepared! I would appreciate some advise also...many many thanks

IMHO the only warranty worth anything is the Mercedes one. All of the others appear to list what is included which means when push comes to shove the part which has failed doesn't appear on the included list. There are many examples of this on the forum.

I think due to the miles that you don't have the option of Service Plus from Mercedes, which is a pity as even though it isn't a warranty members have found that it pretty much covers everything. I don't think you will find many warranty companies interested in covering past 100,000 miles.

One positive is that if the car has covered 110,000 miles then I would expect that it has spent a lot more time driving than being in the workshop so any issues should be well ironed out. My previous E was running better at 126,000 miles when I sold it that when I bought it.

I would find a decent Mercedes specialist in your area and have him undertake servicing and any repairs that way you can spend a lot less than main dealer prices and actually find someone who understands your car.
