My 2013 SL350 R231 went into the dealership to have the boot (trunk) lock and the boot(trunk) position sensor replaced to fix the boot lid not opening issue I was having. When I picked the car up the 'kick to open' sensor for the trunk lid, the hifi and the DAB radio (device unavailable) were no longer working.

Using the hidden menu on the headunit I found 2 faults - a DTCd017 FAULT:Ring Break Pos.0 and a DTCd019 FAULT:Ring Break Pos. 2. The recorded mileage for these was whilst it was at the workshop. Both of these have a DTC Status of 60 (I've attached pictures) - whatever that means.

Does anyone know what/where these faults might be in the car, and whether they could have been caused/have been caused by the lock replacement on the boot/trunk lid? I feel at a disadvantage to the dealership who may say that 'these things happen' and it was nothing to do with the work they've done.

Turns out that the garage blew the fuse for the head unit whilst doing some other stuff - the fuse was replaced and the headunit came back to life - kick to open sensor seems to be still misbehaving - told it's faulty, but I'm suspicious. It's an expensive repair.replacement as the rear bumper has to come off - around 3 hours of labour apparently.
