Why did my insurance company send me a renewal for £250 more than the quote i got off them online (online assumed a new customer)

I had to cancel my renewal, then start a new policy.Their managers could not answer this question (direct line)

So Mike, can you?

DOes your insurance (life policy) know that you are seriously overweight? Have you informed them that your BMI is well over 45?
