Any way to trace/follow Technical Code number issues

I posted I while back about a vibration on depressing the clutch on my new C220 CDI. The dealer now tells me that there is likely to be a recall and that they have been given a Technical Case No. by Mercedes in Germany. Is there a way to 'look this up' and follow progress??

Hi

when problems are present that the dealer cannot solve there is back up from MB TAC (Technical assisant centre) at this point the case is given a case number, this is only to log the problem with MB UK and is not any assurance that germany have any info on the problem,
