Standard Nigerian missing letters , poor grammar and spelling mistakes.

A little off topic but Nigerian scammers do those "mistakes" intentionally so they don't waste time trying to scam educated people that are unlikely to take the bait.

A local guy here almost fell for a similar ad for a digger recently, it was supposedly in Scotland too, and the story he was told by the seller, which he recounted on the local radio recently, was pretty much word for word the same as the 'seller' is describing in this advert.

Luckily he did some detective work and found that the links actually took him to a false ebay page and also an email arrived from the seller sending him to a false paypal page which were both very good copies, he only escaped at the last moment as he contacted ebay to check something before he transferred the money and they had no record of the seller or the digger!!

The linkedin profile shows 0 connections so its only been set up as an attempt at deception.

And he would be either a Captain or First Officer, so he's not done much homework there either.

If you contact him I bet he'll offer to leave the vehicle somewhere for you to collect as he's rushing off on urgent business, but he'll tell you to transfer the money, claiming that your money is safe and can always be refunded using paypals guarantee if you arent happy when you see the vehicle.

He'll then send you a link to a false paypal site which will relieve you of your money never to be seen again.
