I was at the garage, just filled up and fiddling with purse, alas my change dropped out and 20p had managed to get stuck in the gearbox/gear stick slot. I couldn't fit my hands in to pick it out so I ended up breaking a pair of sunglasses to "tweezer" it out. Anyone else experienced this problem? lol

Yeh, but not inside the gearbox. Seats are easy targets. I didn't need the 20p, just couldn't stand the thought of it being there!

This may be an obvious question but, why didn't you wait untill you got home to get a pair of 'tweezers' rather than wreck a pair of sunglasses?

I have had the same pair of sunglasses for over 20 years and they have never needed mending.

They were only a cheap pair anyway, so I didn't mind, an excuse to buy some more! The lens was broken so...

Was an E300TD, now a Lexus LS400
I lost an M&M down the back seat of a Volvo 850 once. It ended up dropping into the floorpan, and was small enough to roll around in there for good. There was no way to remove it.

You have no idea how annoying it was to do a sharp turn, and hear this chocolate coated peanut rattling around from one side of the car to the other. The car was sold on pretty damn quickly.

lol. One reason to turn up the radio.

I managed to drop a bacon flavoured Nobbys nut down the windscreen heating vent. I couldn't hear it thankfully, just know it was slowly decaying and festering inside the car... nice.

lol.

I had a nice packet of Nobbys Nuts on the top of the dash, this was in my Rover Convertible (Yes I know...) and somehow one managed to escape and roll down the vent, I think it was quite a small one mind.

I'm afraid I'm scrunched up against the steering wheel instead, or so my friends say. I'm quite small so I probably look rather odd in such a big car.
