Anyone know a reliable glasgow contact?

Hi all.

I have a failed SBC on my inherited 2004 SL350. It won’t pressurise on start up, and obviously is a complete failure. The failure itself was instant and resulted in me sailing through a roundabout unable to stop which was fun!

I’ve pulled all the codes and we believe it’s the pump itself that’s gone rather than the control module.

Does anyone have a northern contact that refurbs SBC’s? Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Might be worth asking a local MB specialist who they use ?

I will do although I believe many garages use folk down south. If anyone knows anyone that can be paid to travel to recode a replacement SBC, then I may just try and buy a reconditioned one.

It seems specialists willing to deal with SBC's are dwindling. If only there was a conversion kit available to step away from SBC...
