- 2019 AMG S Class Coupe
As the title really, before I get on to Mercedes I was wondering if anyone on here knew the colour of these AMG forged rims. My Google skills seem to have left me recently and I'm finding lots of strange non-wheel related stuff instead of what I need.
All I want it for is to touch a stone chip in so it's not the be all and end all of mighty problems to solve, though I would like to get it done sooner rather than later if possible. It's only around a 5mm squarish mark but every time I park the car the darn thing is there in the most visible position possible. It never stops with the damage at the top of the wheel, always prominently placed at the bottom and angled to catch my eye wherever I happen to be standing at the time.
I've already filled the damage in with a generic wheel silver, even mixed it with a bit of black to try to darken it. This was done purely as a precaution to keep the chip from spreading and just seal the edge of the lacquer but the match needs to be at least something like and not as it currently is. It's not bad enough to justify taking it to a professional either, especially as it has a diamond cut face, so ideally I just want to drop a blob of correct coloured paint over it and polish it out when cured.
The offending wheel below, with a picture of another one in a slightly different light.
All I know is that they're not the usual Titanium Silver, being much darker than that.
