Just putting the rear end of my W202 back together. It all started with some crusting on the rear subframe and questionable brake lines... ultimately it progressed to a full rear end rebuild and repaint. So far I've blasted/ prepped everything, done any welding needed and painted everything with 2+ coats of epoxy mastic (used POR15 on the antiroll bar and towbar crossbeam, horrible stuff).. Just fitted new cupro nickel brake lines (joined to the old ones on the floor pan in the rear footwell area). Unfortunately I didn't take enough pics of the pipe clip arrangements for the brake lines and fuel tank lines which attach to the boot floor etc before removal so I'm having to do a bit of jigsaw puzzle work.
Does anyone know of any exploded diagrams for these showing where everything goes or, even more unlikely, has anyone else done this job (C250 TD) and have pictures of the pipe clip arrangements?
Worst case I just have to busk it and try to copy my other car (not easy to see the pipes in question though). As long as I support the pipes adequately with clips which fit it should all be OK... Really wish i'd taken more pics now lol.
Thanks in advance
