Hello

Does anyone know the MB part number for this and cost? Version 9.0 part number was 67823669 and cost was £205.53 inc VAT.

Best wishes

Hello

I had hoped to write a report on what's new in Version 10 discs for the APS 30. Instead MB have twice shipped V9 to my dealer despite the newer part number being odered. Apparently it is MB UK policy to clear old stock first. To read what I think about this see this thread:

http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/showthread.php?p=231213#post231213

Otherwise I hope to post a review of Version 10 next weekend.

Best wishes

My Navigation CD Audio 30 APS Version 10.0 for Europe arrived today.

The part number on the back of the box is B6 782 3784 and I've now found the MB website where you can register for info on updates and this is the most up-to-date set of discs listed. (www.dcmba.de/navi pick language and complete registration, the last step lists all the discs produced). Discs cost £178.90 plus VAT.

But confusingly/worryingly there are pictures of a set of discs called "Navigations-CD AUDIO 30 APS / Sound 30 APS 2008" on eBay with the part number B6 656 0227 clearly visible on the packaging... have I been sold an out of date set? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270208618877

As far as I can tell this is just a map update. V9.0 also had a software update for the Audio 30 APS which fixed a few bugs e.g. TP operation. No sign of TMC subscription for the UK.

I'll update the thread if a few weeks of driving about reveals any more info. And I'll also try and estimate how new the maps are based on road changes in my local area over the past 12 months.

Hello

I've been using the V10 disc for about a month now and circa 3,000 miles. Driven as far south as Totnes and as far north as Gateshead, but mainly Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.

There seems to be no difference... the road changes in Nottingham missing in V9 are still missing, although the roads were changed before V9 came out. The same seems true elsewhere (though I haven't tried the new A1 stretch by Leeds - missing in V9 so one was "off-road" at 70 mph).

Mercedes still haven't got back to me to tell me if V10 is even the latest or if there is a 2008 version per Robert Jary's part number above. Though they do say about the map updates:

"The DVD's [sic] are normally updated and released on an annual basis and unfortunately there is a surprisingly long lead time (approximately 18 months) between the supply of the information for inclusion and the actual release of the discs."

Best wishes

Re the latest disc for an APS30, Wilfied Steffen, President & CEO of MB-UK wrote to me:

"Our Parts Department have confirmed that part number B6 782 3784 is recognised as being the latest version for Audio 30 Satellite Navigation disc for your particular vehicle. Our information also tells us the Part number B6 656 0227 is an Audio 30 Satellite Navigation disc for Mercedes-Benz light commercial vehicles and not suitable for your own vehicle."
